Notification Events in Vaktum

Vaktum's notification system keeps you informed about important events related to your APIs and tests. This page explains the different types of notification events and how to configure them.

Types of Notification Events

Vaktum can notify you about various events, including:

• Test Run Completed: Notification when a test run finishes
• Test Run Failed: Alert when tests fail
• API Validation Completed: Alert when validation finds problems in your API definition

Configuring Event Notifications

You can configure which events trigger notifications in your notification settings:

1. Navigate to Workspace Settings → Notifications
2. Select the notification channel (Email, Slack, Webhook, etc.)
3. Configure which events should trigger this notification channel
4. Set the priority level for different event types

Notification Data

Each notification event includes relevant data:

• Event Type: The type of event that triggered the notification
• Timestamp: When the event occurred
• Resource: The specific resource affected (API, test suite, environment)
• Details: Specific information about the event
